Roma Workshop 2009 - Accidental Fire Risk

"European Exchange of Good Practice in Identification, Assessment and Management of Accidental Fire Risk"

The Roma workshop was the third of four ANSFR project workshops. The event was organised and hosted by Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco - Nucleo Investigativo Antincendi, with advice and support provided by Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS). The workshop focused on accidental fire risk and involved presentation and discussion of good practice implemented within the four partner countries. A number of specialists from Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco Opens in a new window attended and contributed to the workshop. These specialists represented the regional commands of Roma, Latina, Sienna and Milan, and the central departments of Direzione Centrale Prevenzione e Sicurezza Tecnica (DCPST), Istituto Superiore Antincendi (ISA) and the Scuola di Formazione Operativa (SFO) at Montelibretti.

  • Fire risk in cultural heritage buildings
  • Fire safety inspections/ fire inspections
  • Fire investigation
  • Risk assessment of care homes
  • Risk assessment of domestic premises
  • Reducing fire risks in farms and agricultural premises
  • Young people and children and accidental fire risk
  • Fire safety engineering: active fire protection; passive fire protection; fire modelling and simulation.
