Glossary of Important Terminology
The terminology and definitions presented within this A-Z directory have been collected from a number of sources. Where possible the source of all terminology and definitions is shown within each entry to allow users to trace original documents.
Some of the terminology and definitions included in this area of the website have been developed during the ANSFR Project as a result of collaborative analysis of terminology and definitions currently used within the four project countries and partner organisations. The aim of this exercise, which began during the first ANSFR Project Workshop in Northumberland and continued during the second ANSFR Project Workshop in Frederikssund-Halsnæs, was to develop terminology that would be compatible within each of the four project countries and which would support the partners to successfully deliver the activities of the ANSFR Project.
